Synomos’ Align Fast Forward Program is designed to accelerate an enterprise towards automating its data-policy management and compliance operations, leveraging the entire Align suite of intelligent data-policy provisioning technologies. The Synomos’ Solutions Team’s six-week engagement includes a comprehensive analysis and report of 30 days of data activity on a target system, as well as a standalone copy of the desktop edition of Align’s Policy Development Environment (PDE).

Fast Forward centers on the three phases of the data-policy provisioning lifecycle, beginning with digital model of the enterprise’s policies and business practices, an inventory of relevant data elements and data-handling policies, to a complete data activity audit, including analysis of activity and access logs against policies to identify risk areas to assess the risk of non-compliance based on the frequency of violations.

Align Fast Forward provides:

• Baseline Policy and Practice Analysis Report based on 30 days of actual data transaction activities on the target system;
• Mapping of the policy elements from the model to actual database schema and users and groups from the database or LDAP server;
• Installation and configuration of Align’s Data-Policy Agents on the target local network or system to monitor data usage over a period of one month;
• Comprehensive reports, including identification of risk areas by policy, by user, by data accessed, or by group;
• Digital version of complete Align model (data store), including policies, practices, and monitored events; and
• A copy of the desktop edition of Align Policy Development Environment.

Based on the results of monitored data usage and analysis, Synomos produces a comprehensive Gap Analysis Report detailing the findings from the Fast Forward Program and recommending solutions to improve and automate the audit process of data activity on the target system.
