PATRICK F. SULLIVAN Ph.D.
Senior Vice President of Policy Advisory Services

Patrick Sullivan is an internationally respected security and privacy consultant and speaker. Patrick has worked with Fortune 500 financial institutions, telecommunications providers, pharmaceutical companies, as well as major regional health plans, U.S. federal agencies, and data commissioners in Hong Kong and Ontario. He is an expert in the design and implementation of risk management and compliance processes for privacy laws and regulations, as well as BSI7799/ISO17799 standards for information security management systems.
Prior to joining Synomos, Patrick worked as an independent consultant, focusing on HIPAA security regulation, and privacy and data protection management in the pharmaceutical industry. He was previously Vice President for Privacy and Information Policy with Guardent, a provider of security consulting and managed security services, and was a senior manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers' Compliance Risk Management group, where he helped to establish their global Privacy Practice. Prior to joining PwC, Patrick was executive director of the Computer Ethics Institute in Washington, D.C. He has over 15 years experience teaching at the university level and holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Kentucky.
A. MICHAEL GIGLIO
Vice President of Strategic Accounts

Mike Giglio has over 20 years experience in enterprise IT. Over the past seven years as the US Provisioning Product Sales Specialist at Netegrity he focused on security and compliance technologies, including user provisioning, access control, data protection and privacy and directory-enabled services. He was previously the Director of Sales for Business Layers, an e-provisioning company, which was acquired by Netegrity in 2003. Prior to joining Business Layers, he worked at Novell for over 13 years where he held various sales and managerial position including, Major Accounts Executive and VP of Operations of a Novell subsidiary.
During his career, Mike has worked with many notable accounts including, Chase Manhattan Bank, Wachovia, First Union, JP Morgan/Chase, Fleet, Johnson & Johnson, Park Place Entertainment, Goldman Sacks, American Express, GE, SPX, Pfizer, Schering Plough, Bristol Myers Squibb, Ontario Power & Light, BC Hydro and many more. Mike also held several government positions early in his career as well as serving as manager of Technical Assessment for Bristol Myers Squibb for eight years.
ANDREW JAZWINSKI
Director, Government and Mid-Atlantic Sales

Andrew Jazwinski has over thirty years of experience in the technology industry, with focus on software and professional services marketing and sales. Prior to Synomos, Andrew was Director of Federal Sales for Business Layers, the leading user provisioning company, until its acquisition by Netegrity in 2003. Before that, he founded Network Performance Corporation, a consulting practice which provided technical and sales consulting services to a number of organizations, including AT&T Solutions, Concord Communications and Armon Networking. NPC was the highest producer for Armon Networking, a leading RMON technology company, built a sales channel for that company on the east coast, leading to Armon's acquisition by Bay Networks. Prior to that, Andrew built BTS, a professional services firm focused on the Federal aerospace market which he later sold to its employees. Andrew holds degrees in Geophysics from Penn State and from the California Institute of Technology.
EUGENE GIRARD
Lead Architect
 Eugene Girard is the Lead Architect for Synomos, and has been involved in all major releases of the Align system. With more than 16 years of development experience, Gene’s background includes such diverse topics as high-performance real-time processing, natural language processing, parsing, path planning, two and three-dimensional user interface design, network protocol analysis, and database design. His current work focuses on using test-driven agile development methods to construct a reliable, high performance distributed system, built on a service-oriented architecture.
