AUSTIN HILL
President and CEO

A serial entrepreneur and leading voice on the subjects of privacy and security, Austin Hill has built three companies from the ground up, beginning with his first at age 17. Austin is a Co-Founder of Zero-Knowledge Systems and was previously founder and president of Infobahn Online Services, which merged to form TotalNet, one of Canada's most successful Internet Service Providers. Prior to TotalNet, he created Cyberspace Data Security, an early network security consulting firm. An avid technologist and passionate speaker, Austin is a leading lecturer and presenter on privacy and security issues. He has spoken at COMEX, the International Conference on Privacy and Personal Data Protection, the World Economic Forum, and numerous other conferences and government hearings. Austin is also an Advisory Board member of the Electronic Privacy Information Center.


HAMMIE HILL
Chairman and Chief Financial Officer

Hammie Hill has spent over thirty years in finance, both in public practice and as CFO of a publicly listed national retailer where he was instrumental in growing his company's revenue from $20 million to over $350 million. Hammie's strengths lie in sound corporate strategy, effective administration and cost control, all of which he brings to his role as Chairman of Synomos. He has also been involved in start-up ventures, including the founding of an ISP, Infobahn Online Services.

 
NORMAN FIORE, Partner,
RVC Europe Ltd

Norman joined RVC in 1999 with the mandate to build out the European business. He recruited the European investment team and invested in targeted European funds to accelerate deal flow and establish local partners. Based on his experience at Bain & Company's Private Equity Practice, he formalized and currently manages RVC's investment process globally and oversees post investment portfolio-wide initiatives.

Prior to Reuters, Norman worked at Bain & Company in London, focusing on strategy and M&A assignments for Telecom clients with an emphasis on wireless services in addition to fixed telephony and cable. In 1997, Norman helped build up Bain's nascent Private Equity business that focused on assisting private equity firms with commercial and financial due diligence pre-investment, and revenue and cost opportunities, post investment. Prior to Bain, Norman was an operations consultant in the Business Process Reengineering practice at Ernst & Young in San Francisco.

Norman graduated from Stanford University with dual BS and BA degrees in Engineering and Economics, and has an MBA with distinction from INSEAD.


MIKE SANTER, Co-Chairman,
SVIC

Mike Santer is an entrepreneur who has started several successful technology companies with a focus in networking infrastructure firms. He is currently Co-Chairman of SVIC, an operating company that originates and develops network infrastructure applications and services companies. Mike serves on the Board of infrastructure firm comScore Networks and he has served on the board of Yesmail.com, a publicly traded company (YESM) that was acquired by CMGI. Mike received an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Dayton.
